My geographic ineptness

Tonight over a couple of bevvies and a sushi roll I found out that Glastonbury is in fact in England. Actually no less than 26.9 miles to where my British invasion started (Briston). So for some two and half years I've thought Glastonbury has been north of Edinburgh. All I can say is WTF?
